Blood Drive April 5 at GMH

Georgetown, S.C. --Sign up or just show up to donate blood at Georgetown Memorial Hospital's blood drive on Friday, April 5.

The event is open to the public and will take place from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the private dining room on the first floor of the hospital. Donors will receive a key chain and ice cream or soda coupon.

Appointments can be made by calling 843.527.7173 or going to http://www.redcrossblood.org. Walk-ins are also welcome.

In addition to having a valid ID, blood donors must be healthy, be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds.
