No-Cost Smoking Cessation Program Offered by Georgetown Hospital System

Georgetown, SC – Georgetown Hospital System’s Community Health Education Department will host a no-cost smoking cessation program for local residents during a three week period on Monday and Wednesday evenings beginning April 16 in Georgetown.

FreshStart Plus, a smoking cessation program modeled on the American Cancer Society FreshStart program, will include six classes that will meet from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 and May 2. Classes will be held in the Education Building on the Georgetown Memorial Hospital campus. The program’s methods and activities contain effective elements for success in fighting addiction to nicotine. No fee is required for this program.
