GHS offering flu vaccine clinics for the public

Georgetown, S.C. — Still time to get a flu shot, and to make it as easy as possible, Georgetown Hospital System is offering flu vaccine clinics, including drive-through sites, to the public.
Waccamaw Community Hospital’s drive-through flu vaccine clinic is set for 2 – 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Same Day Surgery entrance. Enter off Riverwood Drive. Georgetown Memorial Hospital’s drive-through clinic will take place from 2 – 5 p.m.Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the community health education building on Memorial Drive.The cost is $25. Medicare B is accepted, and a Medicare card must be presented.
Clinics also will be held from 7:30 a.m. – noon every Tuesday at GMH in the mall area and from 7:30 a.m. – noon every Thursday at WCH in the hallway next to Same Day Surgery.
