George Wilt Annual Charity Golf Tournament Slated for March 17

Georgetown, SC – Georgetown Hospital System’s Foundation will host this year’s George Wilt Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Pawleys Plantation. George Wilt’s strong philanthropy efforts for cancer treatment services in the Georgetown County area prompted this memorial event which has been held since 2003.

Funds raised for the Charity Golf Tournament support patient transportation to and from the Radiation Therapy Center through the Wally Thompson Transportation Fund.

This year’s golf tournament will offer a Captain’s Choice format with three divisions: Men’s, Women’s and Mixed and will include several contests. Shotgun start is 1:30 p.m. with awards ceremony and dinner immediately following. Entry fee is $80 per player or $300 per team.
