Georgetown, S.C. -- A comprehensive explanation of arthritis, including its diagnosis, types and treatment options, will be the topic of a free panel discussion featuring two area physicians from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, in Murrells Inlet.

The panel will take place in the conference room in Wachesaw Medical Center, which is located at 4367 Riverwood Drive across from Waccamaw Community Hospital.

Dr. Patricia Grant, a physician with Georgetown Hospital System NextStep Pain Management Services, and Eric Heimberger, a physician with Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists, are the featured panelists.

The session is part of a daylong event focusing on arthritis. From 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., a Health Care Provider Fair is planned for the lobby area of Waccamaw Community Hospital.
