Bailey Receives Leadership Award from QHR

Georgetown , SC— Bruce P. Bailey, CEO of Georgetown Hospital System, recently was honored by Quorum Health Resources (QHR) for commitment to leadership excellence.

Bailey received QHR’s 2011 Excellence in Leadership awards for Quality Initiatives and Best Overall Performance.

“Bruce Bailey is being recognized for aggressively initiating quality improvement efforts at their two hospitals,” said QHR President and CEO James L. Horrar. “In addition to national quality initiatives, Bruce has involved physician and clinical champions leading the effort to drive improvement throughout the organization.  Their great strides in quality improvement have led to successful affiliation relationships,” Horrar added.
