Michael Bohan, M.D. to Present Community Lecture

Georgetown, SC— Georgetown Hospital System continues a series of free informational lectures to the community in August with a presentation from orthopedic surgeon Michael Bohan, M.D. of Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists.

Dr. Bohan will present his talk on Wednesday, August 18 at 12:00 p.m. at the HealthPoint Center for Health and Fitness located at 12965 Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island. Throughout this lecture series, participants will learn about joint pain treatment options, joint replacement surgery, how knee and hip prostheses work, recovery, rehabilitation, and other topics.

The Georgetown Hospital System Joint Replacement Program team, including nurses and physical therapists, will also be available to share information with participants to help them make informed decisions about relieving hip or knee pain.
