GHS to Host Mammography Screening Clinic on Jan. 22

Murrells Inlet, SC— Georgetown Hospital System will host a Mammography Screening Clinic at the Imaging Center at Waccamaw Cancer Center in Murrells Inlet on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Women who are uninsured or underinsured, aged 40 and over, and who meet various financial and other criteria can participate in this event which offers digital mammography screening services at no cost. The Smith Medical Clinic is participating with GHS to provide these screenings. Space is limited and each participant must make an appointment. Registration for the mammography screening will close on January 15, 2011. To make an appointment prior to January 15, call 520-8171.
