GHS NextStep Wound Healing Center Receives Front Runner Award

Murrells Inlet, SC—Georgetown Hospital System’s NextStep Wound Healing Center has received a Front Runner Award from the National Healing Corporation (NHC), an industry leader for managed and outsourced wound healing centers.

NHC recognized NextStep Wound Healing Center for maximizing resources to meet the growing needs of the community.   The award was presented during an Advanced Clinical symposium in Orlando, Florida.

NextStep Wound Healing Center, located at Waccamaw Medical Park on Highway 17 bypass in Murrells Inlet, specializes in treating chronic wounds and non-responsive conditions with state-of-the-art treatments including hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy, vascular studies, tissue culturing, skin grafting, revascularization and clinical or surgical debridement.
