Murrells Inlet, SC— Georgetown Hospital System’s NextStep Pain Management Services in Murrells Inlet has completed an expansion project at the facility’s location in Waccamaw Medical Park, across Highway 17 from Waccamaw Community Hospital.
The project doubled capacity by adding a second procedure room and 7 additional beds, bringing the bed total to 14.
The project, which included the addition of such state of the art equipment as radiofrequency generators and a C-arm, allows patients to be seen more quickly. A variety of interventional pain management procedures are performed at the facility, as well as in a surgical setting at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Jason C. Rosenberg, M.D. and Patricia R. Grant, M.D. see patients at the expanded site.
