GHS Auxiliary Awards Scholarships

Georgetown, SC The Georgetown Hospital System Auxiliary has awarded three $5,000 scholarships to students seeking careers in nursing and Allied Health professions. The recipients are Jessica Bruce, Gina McDaniels, and John Turner.  Bruce attends the Medical University of South Carolina, majoring in physical therapy.  McDaniels has been accepted at Horry-Georgetown Technical College to pursue a nursing degree while Turner is pursuing a pharmacy degree at the University of South Carolina

The Auxiliary created the Medical Scholarship Fund through the annual Lights of Love campaign. This initiative complements Georgetown Hospital System’s mission of providing outstanding healthcare to the community.
