Georgetown Hospital System Hosts Create Your Weight Program

Georgetown, SC –Georgetown Hospital System will offer “Create Your Weight”, an adult weight management program developed by Registered Dietitians, the experts in nutritional care and weight management.  This program will be offered beginning January 15, 2009 and will take place every Thursday through March 5.

“Create Your Weight” will provide participants with the knowledge and tools to successfully manage their weight and promote a healthy lifestyle for a lifetime. A hands-on grocery store and an introduction to a unique food product each week are just a glimpse of what this program has to offer. 

The program will be offered at three different GHS locations:

HealthPoint (Large Conference Room): 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

Georgetown Memorial Hospital (2nd Floor Training Room): 11:30 – 12:30 p.m.

Waccamaw Community Hospital (1st Floor Classroom): 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Enrollment is $50 and is open to adults over the age of 18.  For more information or to register, call GHS Registered Dietitians at 527-7356 or 652-1633. Class space is limited. Registration deadline is Friday, January 9.

GHS Dietitians, Crystal Collins, RD, LD and Joan Franco, RD, LD will host classes.
