GHS Wins Healthcare Advertising Awards

Georgetown, SCThree of Georgetown Hospital System’s advertising campaigns have been named award winners in two separate national healthcare advertising and marketing competitions, The Aster Awards and Healthcare Marketing Report’s 25th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards.

The Aster Awards is an annual contest designed to recognize excellence in healthcare marketing and advertising throughout the United States.

Georgetown Hospital System received a Gold award in The Aster Awards  “Total Advertising Campaign” category, a Silver award in the “Newspaper Advertisement – Series” category and a Bronze award in the “Single Newspaper Advertisement” category.

This marks the second year in which Georgetown Hospital System’s advertising efforts have been recognized by The Aster Awards.  Winners of the 2008 award will be published in Marketing Healthcare Today magazine.

A record number of more than 4,400 entries competed in Healthcare Marketing Report’s 25th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, which is the oldest and largest national healthcare advertising awards competition.  Georgetown Hospital System received two Silver awards (one in the “Newspaper Advertisement – Series” category and one in the “Total Advertising Campaign” category) and a Merit award in the “Newspaper – Single Advertisement” category. Georgetown Hospital System received a Gold award in the competition sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report in 2006.
