Georgetown Hospital System Offers Breast Health Program for Underserved Women

Georgetown, SC—Georgetown Hospital System’s second “It’s All About Me” breast health clinic will be held Saturday, September 6th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Georgetown Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Imaging Centerlocated on the 1st floor of Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Additional clinics will be held later and the dates, times and location for the clinics will be announced.
Women must meet certain eligibility criteria to participate and appointments are required in order to access services. For more information about eligibility and to make an appointment please call 843-527-7154.
The clinic is funded in part through a grant from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Lowcountry Affliate. Support from the Lowcountry Affliate has been strong over the last several years to assist underserved women of Georgetown County. Forty-six mammograms were performed at the first clinic that was held in June.
