Georgetown Hospital System Auxiliary Gives Scholarships

Georgetown, SC The Georgetown Hospital System Auxiliary has awarded five $5,000 scholarships to students seeking careers in nursing and Allied Health professions. The recipients are Jessica Bruce, Deborah Collins, Heather Jones, Debra Martin and Brittany Nicely.  Bruce, Jones and Martin will attend the Medical University of South Carolina to major in  physical therapy while Collins and Nicely will pursue nursing degrees at the Chamberlain School of Nursing and Liberty University, respectively. 

The Auxiliary created the Healthcare Medical Scholarship fund through two Lights of Love campaigns in 2006 and 2007. This effort complements with Georgetown Hospital System’s mission to provide outstanding healthcare in our community.
