GHS offers flu vaccines for community

Georgetown Hospital System will offer flu vaccines for the community on Friday, January 13 from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown. Flu shots will be given in the Mall Area of the hospital.
In general, anyone who wants to reduce his or her chances of getting the flu should get vaccinated. However, certain people should get vaccinated each year. This group includes those who are at high risk of having serious flu complications or people who live with or care for those at high risk for serious complications.
Flu vaccine is $18. Medicare accepted. For more information, call 527-7105.
