Third Annual Charles F. Cooper Charity Flounder Fishing Tournament

Friday, June 23, 2006

Georgetown, SC – Celebrating the life of Charles Franklin Cooper, Sr. is the driving force for the annual Charity Flounder Fishing Tournament. His family was inspired to create a fund raising event to honor his memory and celebrate his greatest passions – family, friends, community, healthcare and nature. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Francis B. Ford Cancer Treatment Center, a member of the Georgetown Hospital Family, and a full service facility that Mr. Cooper was very proud of.

Registration for the Charles F. Cooper Charity Flounder Fishing Tournament begins at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 1st at the north boat ramp at Pawleys Island Creek in Pawleys Island. For more information on registration and sponsorship opportunities, please contact the Georgetown Hospital System Foundation Office at 527-7470.
