GHS offers flu vaccines for community

Georgetown, SC - Georgetown Hospital System will offer flu vaccines for the community on Tuesday, November 7, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 14, 12-2 p.m. in the front lobby area of Georgetown Memorial Hospital and also at the GHS kiosk located near JC Penney inside Inlet Square Mall in Murrells Inlet, on Thursday, November 9 and Thursday, November 16, from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

In general, anyone who wants to reduce his or her chances of getting the flu should get vaccinated. However, certain people should get vaccinated each year. This group includes those who are at high risk of having serious flu complications or people who live with or care for those at high risk for serious complications.

The Flu vaccine is $20 for non-Medicare patients. For more information about the clinic to be held at Georgetown Memorial Hospital or Inlet Square Mall call 520-8447.
