GHS earns national marketing/advertising awards

Georgetown, SC - A direct mail marketing program targeted at the rapidly growing new resident segment of the market garnered top awards recently for Georgetown Hospital System in two national marketing/advertising competitions.

The organization, which includes Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown SC and Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet SC, won Gold Honors in the Aster Awards for Excellence in Medical Marketing (direct mail category) and Gold for Best Overall Campaign – Healthcare System category in the Healthcare Marketing Review competition. Georgetown Hospital System previously won a Gold Aster Award in 2003.
