Children’s summer reading program offered by Georgetown Hospital System’s Foundation and Women’s Board

Georgetown, SC - Beginning Wednesdays, June 21 through July 26 (excluding July 5) from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., the Georgetown Hospital System’s Foundation and Women’s Board will sponsor, “Children Reading for Children,” a summer reading program for children ages 6 to 14 at area libraries. The sponsored reading efforts of each child will help support the Therapy Assistance Program at NextStep Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, a member of the Georgetown Hospital Family, located in Pawleys Island. Program volunteers will register children at each library on the first reading date and monitor the reading program. All participants will be honored at a special ceremony at the end of the program on August 2. For more information, please contact our foundation office 652-1003 or 527-7470.
