Annual S.T.A.R. Cancer Series Announced

Georgetown, SC – The unique medical, physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of cancer patients will be addressed during an annual community cancer series presented by Georgetown Hospital System.

The 2005 “Support Toward A Recovery” (STAR) series will be held April 4 – 6 at Francis B. Ford Cancer Treatment Center, Georgetown. The free series includes important information of interest to cancer patients, presented in discussion, lecture and interactive formats. Testimonials, nutrition tips and questions and answer sessions are also included on the agenda. Prizes, snacks, educational and resource information will be provided. Sessions run daily from 1 to 4 p.m.
