Cardiac Rehab Program Recertified

Georgetown, SC—Georgetown Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program has fulfilled requirements leading to recertification by the Joint Committee of the South Carolina Medical Association and American Heart Association, South Carolina affiliate on Cardiac Rehab.
Certification, which ensures cardiac rehabilitation services meet established criteria, involves review of numerous program components including policies, procedures, charts, personnel, dietary aspects and vocational rehabilitation. Recertification is required every three years.
Georgetown Memorial Hospital offers Phase II and Phase III Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation programs. The hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation team includes Dr. Ariane Lieberman, Medical Director; Michele Parr, Program Coordinator/Exercise Physiologist; Robin Bratcher, RN; Cindy Turner, RN: Holly Thieler, RD and Alton Bryant, Vocational Rehabilitation counselor.
