Groundbreaking of The Medical Park at The Market Common
As a not-for-profit organization focused on our region’s health and wellness, Tidelands Health is committed to investing in the facilities, technologies and professionals needed to care for the people of our community.
That’s the driving force behind construction of Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common, the health system’s single largest community investment since the construction of Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet in 2002.
Each year, thousands of additional people join our community, prompting an increased need for high-quality medical care. The new Tidelands Health Medical Park is part the health system’s response to that growth.
A formal groundbreaking for the new medical park was held on Aug. 17, 2017. Construction is expected to be complete in the summer of 2019.
The three-story, 65,000-square-foot medical park will feature multiple physician offices, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, pain management, laboratory testing and other services.
