Lights to Remember, Hope for Tomorrow
It was a night to remember the past - and look with hope toward the future.
On Tuesday, March 16, Tidelands Health and our community marked one year since the first COVID-19 case at our health system with a powerful luminary observance, "Lights to Remember, Hope for Tomorrow."
The observance was an opportunity to honor those who have lost their lives to the virus, offer thanks for recovery, recognize the sacrifice and commitment of our region's health care heroes and celebrate the promise of the COVID-19 vaccine.
As individuals and organizations across our region turned on their exterior lights, more than 700 luminaries - each representing a life lost to COVID-19 in our region - shone bright against the night sky outside four Tidelands Health campuses.
