You can help us improve our care by joining our Tidelands Health Community Partner Council. As a volunteer, you will:

  • Explore health care issues and challenges facing patients, family members and our community
  • Help improve the planning, delivery and evaluation of health care services at Tidelands Health
  • Recommend new policies, programs and services to address the needs of community members
  • Identify opportunities to help decrease health disparities in our community

What’s expected of a council member?

  • Be willing to work in partnership with others to develop solutions to help improve our care experience
  • Be an ambassador willing to reflect on issues, thoughts and priorities that may be different than your own
  • Maintain confidentiality of Tidelands Health information
  • Provide feedback about barriers communities may face in managing health

Council information

Membership on the council is a one- or two-year term. Council meetings are held every other month for two hours and include lunch.
