Children's COVID-19 Vaccination
Children ages 5 and older are now eligible to benefit from the lifesaving protection offered by the COVID-19 vaccine.
At Tidelands Health, our region’s leader in COVID-19 vaccination, it’s easy for eligible children to be vaccinated.
In alignment with federal guidelines, we are administering a smaller, child-sized dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to children ages 5-11 and the standard vaccination dose to individuals 12 and older.
As part of our Safe in Our Care initiative, we have established separate, color-coded processes for the two age groups at all of our vaccination locations and events, and our vaccination professionals have received specialized training to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to both children and adults.

Before your vaccination: Review the vaccine fact sheet
Tidelands Health is administering the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. The FDA requires that everyone who receives a COVID-19 vaccine receive and review a fact sheet, which contains important information about the vaccine, possible side effects and contraindications.
