Walk With a Doc
At Tidelands Health, it’s our mission to help people live better lives through better health. And we want to encourage you to take the first step. What easier way to enjoy a healthier life than walking?
Join us each month as we Walk With a Doc. Learn more about a health topic from a Tidelands Health medical professional, and then lace up your shoes and walk about one mile around Grand Park in The Market Common.
According to the American Heart Association, walking has the lowest dropout rate of any physical activity, and it’s low impact, so it’s safe for just about everyone. Take the next step, and Walk With a Doc.
Rain or Shine
Walk With a Doc is held the second Saturday of every month at 9 a.m. We gather at the picnic pavilion adjacent to Forbus Court near the baseball fields in Grand Park across from The Market Common. We walk rain or shine. This is a free event.
Learn how to best care for your spine and back at this Saturday's Walk With a Doc, led by Dr. Scott Ellison, a Tidelands Health orthopedic surgeon who specializes in spinal surgery.
You'll benefit from an informative discussion on spine health before taking a refreshing walk around the lake at the Grand Park Athletic Complex in The Market Common Community of Horry County.
As always, Walk With a Doc is free. Every month, the program includes a presentation on an interesting health topic, blood-pressure checks, healthy snacks and a walk around the lake at your own pace.
Grab your walking shoes, friends and family, and meet us at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, at Pavilion A of the Grand Park Athletic Complex!
