Exceptional Health Care for Our Growing Community

Convenient, accessible health care is important for everyone. That’s why Tidelands Health, in partnership with MUSC Health, is expanding our already strong presence in Horry County with the construction of Tidelands Health Carolina Bays Hospital at the interchange of Highways 31 and 707 in south Horry County.

Site work on the new hospital has begun, with construction expected to be complete in late 2028. The hospital and surrounding campus will be home to a wide array of advanced medical services, including:

• Full-service emergency care
• Leading inpatient care
• Specialized cardiac care, including open-heart surgery in partnership with MUSC Health specialists
• Robotic surgery
• A full-service cancer center, part of the MUSC Hollings Cancer Network
• Robust women and children’s services, including pediatric sub-specialty care delivered by MUSC Health specialists
• Advanced imaging and laboratory services
• A third regional location of Tidelands Health Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health
