In collaboration with MUSC Health, we offer a variety of minimally invasive surgical procedures using the da Vinci robotic surgical system. This leading technology allows our team of experienced, specially trained surgeons to perform procedures using smaller incisions and with more precision than traditional surgical approaches.
What is robotic-assisted surgery?
Robotic-assisted surgery allows your surgeon to precisely perform complex and delicate procedures through small incisions in your body using miniaturized instruments. The surgeon controls these instruments from a nearby computer console using a high-definition 3D camera to see inside your body. The camera can magnify the operating field to provide your surgeon much more detail than the human eye alone can detect.
