We are a rehabilitation hospital within a hospital, located on the third and fourth floors of Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet and have all private rooms. We have a comprehensive team that uses a multi-disciplinary approach with the goal of helping our patients return to their pre-hospitalization level of function and mobility. The entire team develops a plan of care to maximize your outcomes.

Patients in our rehabilitation program receive a minimum of three hours of therapy per day in physical therapy, occupational therapy and/or speech therapy at least five days a week. As a result, our patients stay in our rehabilitation program on average 12-14 days – that’s a shorter stay than the national average. If cleared by the physiatrist, patients can participate in a home pass on days that therapy is not provided.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule a tour of our facility, please call (843) 652-1350. Tidelands Waccamaw Rehabilitation Hospital accepts patient referrals from acute care hospitals, long-term acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and from physicians. Tidelands Waccamaw Rehabilitation Hospital accepts most major health insurance plans.
