70 Years of Caring
On May 11, 1950, the hospital that is now Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital first opened its doors. In the 70 years since, our Tidelands Health doctors, nurses and health care professionals have served our growing region with skill and grace.
That service has never mattered more than it does now, as we continue to care for our community even amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, we cannot celebrate this milestone anniversary as we traditionally might have. In this time of crisis, though, we can pause to celebrate what truly matters – each one of our more than 2,500 team members and their dedication to the region we’re proud to call home.
We thank our health care professionals for their unfailing commitment to our community. And we thank you, our community, for your overwhelming outpouring of love and support as we face this unprecedented challenge together.
