Free sign-up assistance for Health Insurance Marketplace

Georgetown, S.C. – Area residents who have questions or need assistance enrolling in the Health Insurance Marketplace are invited to attend free enrollment fairs throughout February and March.

Certified application counselors will be on hand at the events to help uninsured residents sign up for health insurance as required by the Affordable Care Act. The enrollment deadline is March 31.

The fair dates are Feb. 13 and March 6 at the Socastee Public Library; Feb. 19 and Feb. 26 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital and Feb. 21 and Feb. 28 at Waccamaw Community Hospital. Representatives will also be available to answer questions by phone. The numbers are listed below.
