HealthPoint Offers Male Student-Athlete Workshop

Pawleys Island, SC A one-day program designed to benefit male student-athletes will be offered at Georgetown Hospital System’s HealthPoint – Center for Health and Fitness on Saturday, February 20 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Participants in the one-day seminar will receive a comprehensive student-athlete profile including diagnostic, speed, agility and strength testing and nutritional guidance.  An academic counselor will be available to review each participant’s current academic transcripts and provide insight to ensure NCAA eligibility requirements for Divisions I, II, or III are met. 

More than 300 student-athletes have been helped by HealthPoint’s Student-Athlete Development program. The program costs $99. Early registration and payment is required. Space is limited to 20 student-athletes. Contact HealthPoint director Kevin Conlon at 237-2205 for details or to register.
